Mezzo-Soprano Betty Allen, shown here backstage at a 1976 Manhattan School of Music recital with President George Schick. Ms.Allen was a member of the voice faculty from 1969 until her death in 2009, and served as a faculty advisor for various student organizations throughout her tenure.
